Takako Shimizu (清水 多香子 Shimizu Takako) is Hideki and Shinbo's teacher at the Seki Prep School.
Background[]
Like Yumi, Shimizu has had a negative experience with Persocoms in the past. She and her husband recently bought a Persocom, and eventually, she became unimportant to him compared to the Persocom. He spent more and more time with it until he forgot about his wife completely, locking her out of the house one night because he was so enamored with it. Because of this, Shimizu is no longer able to trust human men. Later, she elopes with Shinbo and eventually returns to the prep school, married to Shinbo.

First Husband[]
Not much is known about Shimizu's first husband, but it was revealed that after they bought a Persocom, he became obsessed with it to the point of forgetting her completely.
Hirumo Shinbo[]
Shimizu met Shinbo on the night after she was locked out of her apartment by her former husband, and he became smitten with her. It wasn't until sometime after Hideki found Chi after she went missing that Shinbo elopes with Shimizu.
Hideki Motosuwa[]
Hideki is one of her students at cram school. One night, she spends the night at his apartment when she can't face seeing Shinbo, who she ends up eloping with later in the series.
Etymology[]
- Her given name Takako (多香子) means "child of many fragrances."
- Her surname Shimizu (清水) means "pure water."
- Her second married surname Shinbo (新保) consists of "new" (新) and "protect" (保).
